The exhibition titled to “A Dream of Icons and Grids” is Hyun’s M.F.A thesis exhibition of the Savannah College of Arts and Design. It opens Friday, November 11th, 2016 and closes Thursday, January 8th, 2017 at the Alexander Gallery, 668 Indian Street, Savannah, GA 31401. The opening reception will be Friday, November 11th from 6 - 9 pm. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. In this thesis exhibition, not only does he represent iconic images re-contextualized in the modern history, but he also indicates a painting on grids, in order to find his own self-discipline and persistence of practice in vision.
The exhibition is curated by Ben Tollefson, an assistant curator of SCAD exhibitions.
